Perceived Value in Sustainable Coastal and Marine Destinations: A Study of Jacó in Costa Rica

Perceived value influences the future behavior of tourists in sustainable coastal destinations, and thus is crucial for elaboration development plans. This study aims to: (i) identify dimensions perceived demand a marine destination; (ii) determine that predict satisfaction (iii) establish loyalty variables such as return, recommendation, saying positive things about destination. research was carried out Jacó, tourist destination on Pacific Ocean coast located Central American country Costa Rica. The sample collection on-site June 2021 during COVID-19 pandemic. quantitative used 304 valid questionnaires. Factor analysis multiple regression method were performed data analysis. results show three value, namely, emotional functional social economic value. dimension most important predictor can serve management guide managers destinations information service providers to develop products according demand.
